Neonatology Locums in Iowa with Delivery Support and Procedural Focus
2 weeks ago
Job Description
A facility in Iowa is seeking a board-certified neonatologist for sporadic locum tenens coverage. This role includes attending high-risk deliveries and providing inpatient care in a NICU setting. While PICC lines are placed by ARNPs, physicians are expected to troubleshoot, confirm placement via x-ray, and remove lines when necessary. UVC placement is required. Deliveries attended include those under 34 weeks, cases with fetal viability concerns, hydrops fetalis, life-threatening malformations, multiples, and at the request of the delivering physician or NICU team. If you're experienced in neonatal care and ready to support a high-acuity team, connect with a consultant to learn more. #LI-CK1
