Job Description

A healthcare facility in North Dakota is seeking a locum tenens urologist to provide coverage for both clinic and call duties. The ideal candidate should be able to perform prostate biopsies with an RN, as there is no ultrasound tech on site. Responsibilities include TRUS biopsies of the prostate, cystoscopy, and cystoscopy with dilation. The role involves handling emergent surgeries and potentially managing 1-3 stone cases while on duty. Providers will also perform rounding on their post-op patients during the week, but no additional rounding is required. The clinic schedules 30 patients per day with 5 in-clinic procedures, and on surgery days, there are typically 4 surgeries scheduled. The facility uses EPIC for electronic medical records.
