  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Board Certified or Eligible within 5-7 years of training. Fellowships or secondary board certifications in epilepsy or vascular neurology are highly valued. Recent experience (within the last 12 months) with requested procedures is often required.

  • AVAILABILITY

    Inpatient roles typically follow a 7-on/7-off schedule, while outpatient/clinic roles often require a minimum of 2 weeks per month. Flexibility and solid availability increase opportunities.

  • LICENSURE

    IMLC licensure is preferred, with IMLC eligibility also considered. Licensure flexibility ensures broader placement options in hospitals, including those with stroke certifications.

  • KEY ATTRIBUTES

    Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and calmness under pressure are essential. Placements are often in stroke-certified hospitals, addressing high-demand specialties like vascular and epilepsy neurology in underserved communities.
