Job Description

A medical center in Iowa is seeking a neonatologist to provide ongoing coverage within a neonatal care program serving both inpatient and newborn populations. This opportunity offers recurring coverage needs and is ideal for physicians who enjoy a hands-on clinical role, with an average daily census of 5 to 10 patients and approximately 4 procedures performed per day. The unit is equipped with ventilators, CPAP, line placement supplies, and chest tube capabilities, allowing providers to manage a broad range of neonatal care needs. There is no NNP support, making this a strong fit for neonatologists who are comfortable working independently within a collaborative care environment. The facility utilizes Epic as the EMR and welcomes providers with an active Iowa license or active IMLC.
