Job Description

A hospital in Maine is seeking a Neurointerventional Surgeon with an endovascular neurosurgery focus for recurring locum tenens coverage. This role requires approximately 10 days of coverage per month, scheduled in 2–3 predictable blocks of 3–4 consecutive days. Clinical responsibilities include advanced neurointerventional procedures such as mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke and treatment of ruptured and complex intracranial aneurysms, along with other endovascular neurosurgical interventions. Candidates must hold an active Maine license or qualify through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) and have a clean malpractice history.
