Job Description
A hospital in Texas is seeking a Pediatric Hematology Oncology physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This role combines inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and requires coverage for 1 to 2 weeks per month. The position is primarily inpatient focused, with clinic coverage varying based on patient care needs. Daytime coverage runs approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overnight call from home from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Physicians must be comfortable performing lumbar punctures as well as bone marrow aspirates and biopsies.
