A Wisconsin hospital is looking for a Pediatric Geneticist to provide recurring locum tenens coverage within its biochemical and medical genetics program. Coverage is needed for 1 to 2 weeks per month, preferably scheduled in two-week blocks. The inpatient service consists of 24-hour shifts, including call, with 5 to 7 half-day clinic sessions scheduled during the assignment. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient consultations, newborn screening consultation calls, and outpatient visits for biochemical and medical genetics patients. The physician will care for pediatric patients through approximately age 24 and may continue following complex patients into adulthood.
