Job Description
A hospital in California is seeking a board-certified pediatric hospitalist for locum tenens coverage. This assignment includes 12-hour in-house shifts paired with 12-hour backup call, with the greatest need for night shifts. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, rounding, and providing ED consults. You can expect an average of 5–7 deliveries per day. The hospital does not have a PICU, and APP support is available Monday through Friday. Candidates must have a clean malpractice history, an active California license, and be comfortable with intubation. EMR is Epic, and PALS and NRP-CCS certifications are required. Ready to learn more?
