Job Description
A hospital in Indiana is seeking a surgeon for an ongoing locum tenens assignment focused on surgical critical care. This role includes both hospital and clinic responsibilities, with day shifts running 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (night backup call) and night shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (day backup call). Clinic days are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, and you’ll see an average of 10–20 patients per day supported by a team of APPs. The facility uses Cerner EMR to streamline documentation.
