We have an opportunity for a Neurohospitalist to perform in-patient Neurology coverage. Neurohospitalist service is daily from 7AM to 5PM for acute stroke and also general neurology consultations and ongoing inpatient care. Night shifts are currently covered by remote site Tele Neurology services. Board certified Neurologist with Vascular Neurology training is preferred, but a general Neurologist that is experienced with inpatient acute care protocols and the use of thrombolytics or indications for thrombectomy are needed. The neurology candidate must feel comfortable with emergent neurology consultations and interpreting brain CTs, MRIs, CT angiograms and CT perfusion studies.
