Job Description

A hospital in Vermont is seeking a board-certified anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens coverage following a recent retirement. This is a full-time opportunity with a mix of general anesthesia and bread-and-butter cases—no cardiac or sick peds. You’ll be responsible for regional blocks for orthopedic procedures, OB anesthesia (spinal/epidural), and line placements. The role includes medical direction of CRNAs and CAAs, with a strong emphasis on collaborative care.

The schedule includes regular weekday shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM, with 24-hour home call (or in-house if preferred). This is an ongoing assignment with a minimum of two weeks per month of coverage. If you’re confident in regional techniques and looking for a rewarding locums experience in the Northeast, this could be a great fit.
