Job Description
A facility in Illinois is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional days ending at 6:00 PM. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Weeknight call is rarely needed, but daytime and weekend call (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) is possible and not uncommon. Candidates must already hold an active Illinois license along with an active IL DEA and CSR, and ACLS certification is required.
