Job Description

A hospital in Vermont is seeking a pediatric anesthesiologist to provide weekday coverage in an inpatient pediatric unit. In this assignment, you will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no call and no weekend responsibilities. You will support a broad range of cases including ENT, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, neurosurgery, spine, dental, pulmonary, and non‑OR anesthetics such as MRI, IR, and CT. While pediatric cases make up roughly 40 percent of the workload and adult cases about 60 percent, pediatric volume can fluctuate, and on some days you may not care for patients under age 18. Pediatric fellowship training is not required, but pediatric certification is necessary. If a structured weekday schedule with a diverse anesthesiology case mix in Vermont sounds like a good fit, click “I’m interested” to connect with a consultant who can walk you through the details.
