4KIDS is one of the seven non-profit organizations that Hayes Locums serves through our Hayes Helps initiative. The vision behind 4KIDS started in 1997 as a response to the foster care crisis in Broward County, Florida.

Since then, 4KIDS has been dedicated to finding homes for children and providing them with a safe, loving environment as they await placement in foster care; their bold vision is to provide a HOME for EVERY Child. 4KIDS has hundreds of foster families across six Florida counties to help the thousands of children who are removed from their homes each year.

  • 4KIDS offers Specialized Homes to keep siblings together, a place for teens to belong, and a safe haven for girls at risk of human trafficking.
  • Young women in our community face unplanned pregnancies every day and need guidance, support, and a safe home through 4KIDS His Caring Place. 
  • When kids in foster care turn 18, many don’t have a family to turn to. 4KIDS created the Spirit of Success Institute with independent living homes to equip young adults as they make the transition out of foster care.
  • Foster children are frequently exposed to trauma, and many struggle to thrive. The EPIC Therapeutic Approach was developed by 4KIDS to assist every kid heal with a family that is ready to love and support them.

At 4KIDS’ annual Honors Night awards dinner, Hayes Locums was awarded business advocate of the year for 2021. Hayes Locums offers to match every donation that an employee gives to 4KIDS up to $2,500, and we participate in a number of 4KIDS events throughout each year as part of our Hayes Helps partnership.

4KIDS South Florida Orphans Classic Golf Tournament

Every year we tee off with more than 100 other golfers in the South Florida Orphans Classic, a golf tournament and auction to raise awareness and funds for 4KIDS.

Galentine’s Brunch

Each February before Valentine’s Day, 4KIDS holds Galentine’s Brunch, a ladies-only gathering for women across all different industries to give back to girls in the community.

Gift of Hope Toy Drive

Hayes Locums participates in collecting and wrapping toys for 4KIDS’ annual toy drive to ensure children, teens, and young adults in crisis have a present to open on Christmas.

Back to School Drive

By collecting backpacks, diaper bags, and school supplies for the 4KIDS Back to School Drive, we help ensure that 4KIDS adoptive and foster children are academically prepared.
