Job Description
A hospital in Kentucky is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist to provide ongoing inpatient coverage. This locum tenens role includes weekday shifts (Monday–Friday) with a mix of 9-hour (6 AM–3 PM), 11-hour (6 AM–5 PM), and 13-hour (6 AM–7 PM) schedules. The physician assigned to the 13-hour shift will also serve as the evening on-call provider, alongside the primary and secondary call CRNAs. Responsibilities include preoperative evaluations and performing blocks, with supervision of CRNAs. The patient population ranges from healthy pediatrics to geriatrics, and includes a wide variety of adult specialties such as gastroenterology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, and general surgery.
